Hello and thank you for joining me today. it’s the perfect time to think about April showers bring May flowers. Just in time for Mother’s Day. I have cute coordinations today using the Timeless Tulips bundle. This really is a must have versatile bundle. You can use this bundle to say hello, happy birthday, I’m sorry and of course to show your appreciation for mom.
First up is the cupcake topper. I really wish the cupcakes would have lasted to be in this post. Simply stamp three tulips in your color choice. Using the tulip punch, punch the 3 tulips out. You will want to fold them in half or line up on your score board so the center tip of the tulip lines up with 1/2” mark for a perfect fold. Using your go to adhesive, you will adhere them similar to as if they were joining hands. Slide a toothpick through the center bottom. You could create a bouquet following same process with wooden skewers.
Next is my favorite sweet treat. The mini tulip candy box or basket. Thanks to Twila Davis for sharing her creation, such a quick treat. Cut a piece of your favorite Green cardstock at 2 3/4” x 2 3/4”. Score at 3/4” on all sides. Cut to intersecting lines as shown. (You are not experiencing any visual side effects as a result of social distancing. This is not green cardstock. I forgot to take my photos and resorted to stock photos)
Putting adhesive on your four outer squares, fold in top middle first. Secure by placing first flap on the inside of the middle and press together. Repeat with second flap. Turn and rotate basket and repeat
You will stamp and punch for tulips to adhere to each side of your basket. You will see I then placed two wrapped nuggets in the basket. Makes a great place setting treat.
Last but not least is card for mom/aunt/grandma or that special lady. Using a whisper white vertical card base, layered with black. I sponged Lovely Lipstick on the upper portion and Granny Green on bottom. Stamping my tulips, stems and leaves in same colors. Using my spritzer added a few water droplets.
Using a landscape card base, repeated using Gorgeous Grape and Granny Apple Green.
Adding the sentiment with Versa Mark and silver embossing powder.
