Where has this time gone? I almost instantly became filled with angst knowing how much I have to do yet this year or want to do. It’s part of the reason I chose to over simplify the #simplestamping
There are so many ways in which you can start the creative process as I show you here. I can’t decide on my layout. Do I want spacing, flush with the top?
I finally decided upon the basic black card base.

This card using the Candy Cane background die and a rectangle from the Deckled Rectangles die was so easy to make. I was able to cut both the background and rectangle at the same time with the Stampin’ Up! Cut n’ emboss machine.
Stamped the feet in the lower portion of the deckled rectangle
Stamped the witch’s hat on separate piece of basic white and using punch to punch the hat out
Colored hat, socks and buckleAdhered the black background with liquid Tombow
Popped up the rectangle with a couple of dimensionals
Placed bow

Hello and welcome to this months Christmas in July blog hop. I am featuring the Christmas Scottie bundle with a simple yet different cut.
The card base is 11-1/2”x 4-1/4” scored at 5-1/2”. Then cut the top 2-1/8” x 5-1/2” and save for later add-on project. You can now run the bottom 2-1/8” x 5-1/2” through the embossing folder of your choice. For this card I used the Gingham design.
The save for later cut piece now becomes a gift tag.

Today is a simplered, white and blueusing Days to Remember stamp set. The white layer is subtly embossed it makes it a bit hard to see in the picture.

Welcome to this months Team Stamp It Father’s Day Blog Hop. This is the place to be for masculine card ideas. The sentiments don’t have to be related to Father’s Day as you will see in my cards today.
I chose the He’s All That stamp set which is also a part of the He’s the Man suite. I love the options provided in color and design of the designer’s series paper (DSP).
First design up today is To the man that has everything. Fairly basic card using 2 pieces of DSP measuring 1-1\4” x 2” 1 piece of cardstock 2” x 2-1/4”to stamp your sentiment. The nice thing about this, you can mix those if you want your sentiment at top, center as shown or bottom. For the strip of crushed curry it is 2” x 1/2”. I used a standard hand held paper punch to nip the two corners.
As for the second design today, it’s all about the layers and the time worn embossing folder (EF) in Crushed Curry 4” x 5-1\4”.n I forgot to list below. All three strips of DSP are 1-1\4” wide The first strip is 5”, second, 4-1/2” and the last is 4”.

It’s been a busy couple of weeks between work and my friend Niki and I have been getting ready for a vendor/craft show. Wish us luck – they seem to be hit and miss. I don’t know if we are not faced with the right shoppers or if they really are not intrigued by our creations. #cardmakingisnotforeveryone
